1 CUP / 150 G UNHULLED SESAME SEEDS
1 TSP SEA SALT OR HIMALAYAN SALT
1 - Start by toasting the sesame seeds. Place them in a dry skillet over medium heat and stir frequently until seeds start popping and turn golden brown. They should crush easily between your fingers and smell fragrant.
2 - Place toasted sesame seeds and salt in a mortar. Crush the seeds with the pestle until coarsely ground.
3 - Store in a airtight container at room temperature.
